Each day we can do something healthy. Something good for ourselves. An extra helping of spinach. A walk in the fresh air. Tea with a friend. Book that trip to Amsterdam. Call your mom. Go to your niece’s soccer game. Look at the clouds. Get to bed early. Turn off the tv. Have a good belly laugh with your kids. Leave the dishes in the sink. Organize that pile of papers on your desk. Curl up on the couch with a good book. Doesn’t matter so much what it is. If it gives you solace and peace and even a little bit of joy (or a lot) it’s healthy. Let yourself do something healthy today.
