I’d love to hear about something, or many things, that you’re going to do today that is/are good for your health. Could be your physical health, your emotional health, your spiritual health, your social health… Doesn’t matter. It’s ALL good. Please share- I want to get a great list going! Share the health! Maybe your action will inspire someone else to do something healthy for themselves.
I’ll start! I’m going to take my dogs (and myself!) on a walk to the Battenkill (river). Get outside, breathe some fresh air, they can run like crazy, dig in the dirt, find smelly gross things, I’ll throw some sticks. Win-win. It’ll be fun!
Read your blog…walk the dogs..meditate..be grateful for my life..
Gratitude. Thank you Jon. Have a wonderful day
Work with our new very green horse, work my BC, clean up and fix fences at the farm from Hurricane Sandy, get gas for the generator at home (been out of electricity since Monday), be grateful for what I have, not for what I want..
Wow- it sounds like a very full day, Chris! May it all flow beautifully. You’ve inspired me.
I had my six month dental checkup and cleaning. Everything was fine. I cuddled with my cat this morning. I love listening to him purr while he lays on my chest. Read Jon Katz blog which I do every morning
Nice! Thank you Elaine, have a wonderful day!
Reconnect with some old friends and hopefuly make some new friends at Volunteer Weekend at Camp Chingachgook. Hike, walk down to the lake, be open to life’s surprises.
Ahhhhh, time at a lake. Sounds terrific! All these healthy, enriching experiences.
The healthy list is growing! Thanks everyone, please keep it coming!
Read Daring Greatly by Brenee Brown with 3 cats nearby. Checking in on friends from Va + NJ to see if they are coping well through the storm.
How are your friends doing? We’re sending supplies to NYC this weekend. There’s so much need. Wishing you the best, and hope you enjoyed your book!
Enjoyed the book immensely. Friends in VA were fine. Some friends in NJ were fine but others in different location – Ewing, Nj were w/o heat, power for so long that they got to relatives who had a generaor. Bless you for sending supplies to NYC!
