Healing

When a new client arrives with severe muscle issues, we go over what led up to this condition.  We explore their daily lives and what factors may contribute to the condition, as well as the factors that offer relief.  We discuss what changes they might make to both their environment and their daily activities that can support their healing and perhaps avoid this problem in the future.  I know the client will leave feeling much better than when they arrived.  Yet we also talk about the fact that, as I like to put it, Rome wasn’t built in a day.  It might not be reasonable to expect 100% relief from an isolated session.  Healing might take time, a bit of effort, and a  large degree of self care.  I also frequently recommend adjunctive therapies:  chiropractic, acupuncture, nutrition, counseling etc.  I have a large network of fantastic health care practitioners that I consult with and recommend. Healing is a path and a way of life.

Have a wonderful day, and take really good care of yourself!
