Meditation and Massage Therapy

There will be NO Meditation Circle this morning at Stairway Healing Arts Center.  There’s a problematic shoulder and back that I need to get my hands on first thing today.  My apologies to those of you who were planning to attend.  Hope to see you tomorrow when the meditation circles will resume as scheduled.  Meanwhile, subscapularis, teres, supraspinatus, infraspinatus, trapezius, rhomboids, erector spinae, latissimus, deltoids…. here I come.

  1. Massage is obviously good for your muscles and tension. But as an accepted part of many physical rehabilitation programs, massage therapy has been proven to work on many chronic conditions.

For myself, it has helped my chronic migraines. I have significantly fewer migraines now that I have regular massage therapy.

    • Thank you so much for this input. I’m glad massage therapy gives you relief from the migraines. I’ve had a variety of positive results with clients with migraines. Do you experience fewer migraines? Longer periods of time between migraines? Decreased intensity of the headaches? Relief can be different for each migraine sufferer. I’d like to hear more. But most importantly, I’m glad you’re getting good results via massage. It’s affirming news. Thank you. And wishing you the very best.
